The Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates (CMGGA 2026) is a flagship fellowship programme of Government of Haryana. It is designed to harness the potential of young professionals in strengthening governance and improving service delivery at the grassroots. Initiated in 2016, followed by eight cohorts, the programme is pioneering as one of the best experiential learning models in governance fellowships.
Each year, ‘Good Governance Associates’ are selected through a rigorous national process and placed across all 23 districts of Haryana. They work directly with the district administration and in coordination with the Chief Minister’s Office, enabling rapid translation of policy priorities into on-ground action. Their role combines field immersion, problem-solving, and innovation in governance, ensuring last-mile service-delivery of flagship schemes of the government and citizen-centric outcomes in areas such as education, healthcare, women and child development, skill development, employment, digital governance, and infrastructure.
